WE LOVE KIDS!

Because God values children so highly, we are called to value them as well. Parents have the primary responsibility of discipleship, but they are not alone. We value the role children play in our community, and have the privilege to teach, love, and care for them as an extension and support of their parents’ work.
At Apostles Uptown, we seek to include our children as part of the body, because they are - an important one. We want them to be familiar and comfortable with the way we do church. We also want to create a learning environment that is fun, age appropriate, and safe. This also means that parents are freed up to be fully present in the service.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON SUNDAY
Childcare is provided for all children ages eight and under!
When you come to Apostles Uptown, a connect volunteer will direct you to the kids check-in table. Once there, our friendly Apostles Kids volunteers will help you register your child and assign you a security number that is unique to your family.
All children participate in the main worship service, and are dismissed to go to class right before the sermon. At dismissal, you and your child will head to the lobby and meet with our Kids volunteers, who will escort you and your child to class.
While you are worshipping, your child will be in a safe and nurturing environment. If we need to contact you for any reason during the service, we will send a text to the phone number you provide when you sign in. After the service you will return to your child's classroom and present your security number to our volunteers for pick up.
