FORMING OUR IMAGINATION
The Apostle Paul tells us that " whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." (Phil. 4:8 NIV)
As those created in God's image, people have been given an intellect and an imagination, and both of these are essential to our formation as disciples of Jesus. Art is a means by which our imagination is provoked and shaped, giving us glimpses of God's glory and leading us to love him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength (Mk. 12:30).
As a church we seek to engage the arts together in two ways: Living Room Culture and seasonal arts projects.

LIVING ROOM CULTURE
Our Living Room Culture events are opportunities for us to engage the arts in a hospitable and non-intimidating environment. We feature the work of one or more artists and seek to celebrate and learn from their work. These are evenings for us to eat and drink together, ask questions, and engage with art forms that may be less familiar to some of us. In the past we've hosted Living Room Culture events on acting, art collecting, film, visual art, and music.
SEASONAL ARTS PROJECTS
Throughout the year, we incorporate the arts in our gatherings, especially during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
