OUTREACH

WORKING TOWARD RENEWAL

One of our values as a church is to pray and work toward the renewal of our church, our neighbors and our city. One of the ways we do this is by finding meaningful opportunities to serve the neighborhoods where we live and work.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AFFILIATES

DREAM CENTER NYC

We partner and serve with Dream Center, who serves the neighborhood where our church offices are located (Central Park North). Their Community Markets are mobile pantries that provide emergency food relief to families experiencing poverty and marginalization in NYC.

PATHWAYS MENTORING

Pathways equips community leaders to mentor youth by building character, developing leaders and preparing them for the future. Several of our members serve as mentors for at-risk youth who live in the Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods of Manhattan.

THE OPEN DOOR

The Open Door provides English Classes to the immigrant community in New York and New Jersey. Their mission is to empower  immigrants to reach their full God given potential to successfully integrate, participate and contribute to the well being of our society.

SERVING THE CITY

We are always looking for better ways to serve our city and beyond. If you’re interested in volunteering you can take a look at some upcoming opportunities below. Also, check out our outreach sign-up form as we update it regularly with new opportunities.

Current Opportunities:

Summit Hurricane Relief Trip:

The community of Summit Church, a fellow Harbor Network church in Naples, Florida, recently suffered devastation from Hurricane Ian. We are putting together a team to go down and help with a second round of clean-up and rebuilding, sometime in January. If you are interested in joining this team, click the outreach form below.
